Trivia This TV series and a full feature movie have the same cast and has been shot simultaneously to reduce costs of production. Some of the scenes from the feature movie been used in the TV series as well. I guess I was really bored with Hollywood productions. Came here after watching The Witcher and must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the writing and pacing of the story!
I believe that the Polish version handles various characterizations and story beats a lot more coherently than Netflix's, and I thoroughly enjoyed how this Geralt progressed from youth to adulthood. The editing in fight scenes is pretty awful, and the special effects are, dated at best. But in my opinion, if you want a much easier to follow narrative that actually focuses on THE WITCHER, and can look past its age, this is definitely better than most reviews online would have you believe.

I wish Netflix could do something similar, but with their high budget and the awesome acting from Henry Cavill.
